FT-CAR International Symposium on Future Automotive Technologies Successfully Held in Liuzhou, Guangxi
The FT-CAR International Symposium on Future Automotive Technologies was successfully held in Liuzhou, Guangxi on November 30. The event brought together experts from major domestic universities, representatives of well-known enterprises in the automotive sector, as well as leading officials from Liuzhou Municipal Government, relevant municipal government departments and Liudong New Area. Centered on the "Four New Modernizations" of automobiles — electrification, sharing, intelligence and connectivity, the conference aimed to discuss technological development and model innovation for future vehicles.
The symposium assembled experts and administrators from universities, leading industrial companies and government authorities to focus on four core themes:
- Define the Future: Exploration of new business models for future automobiles
- Power the Future: Analysis of new driving forces for the automotive industry as well as energy conservation and emission reduction technologies
- Shape the Future: Research on the application of new automotive materials and novel vehicle structures
- Data the Future: Discussion on automotive big data and its secure application
During the event, numerous industry experts delivered keynote speeches. Professor Li Shutao, Vice President of Hunan University, presented a special report titled Visual Perception and Natural Interaction in Intelligent Vehicles. Liu Jie, Director of the Information Security Center at the China Electronics Standardization Institute (CESI) Fifth Research Institute of MIIT, and Kang Fei, Director of the Vehicle Integration Department of SAIC Motor Passenger Vehicle Branch, also shared cutting-edge insights respectively.
The successful convening of the FT-CAR International Symposium on Future Automotive Technologies is of great significance for accelerating the transformation and upgrading of Liuzhou’s automotive industry, strengthening independent innovation capabilities, and injecting fresh momentum into the rapid and high-quality economic growth of Liuzhou in the new era.
